Why Crete ?

Well over the past seven years we have spent all our summers on Crete and in truth its a little bit more romantik than rainy old Denmark.

We are aware that in chosing this location a lot of the people we have invited wont be able to make it,but in the spirit of you only live once we decided to go ahead anyway.

A little practical information.

the part of Crete where the wedding is taking place is west Crete on the Chania coast.we have been doing a few price checks on travel and acomodation and the cheapest solution/value for money is in bokking a package trip for a week the prices are pretty low and you can gennerally get trip and hotel for less than the airfare alone flying with regular airlines.If you have trouble finding a well priced package deal from your own country it might be worth bokking a package deal out of Denmark due to the popularity of Crete with danes there is an extensive selection of package deals at very reasonable prices.

Where to stay.

The area that we recomend that you stay in is west Crete close to the second largest city on Crete called Chania we recomend getting a hotel within 20 KM of Chania otherwise you will be to far out and spending to much time on travel.the following sea side towns/areas are all perfectlye situated.
